Goodbye Summer
親愛的家長們 大家好!
八個星期的 Summer School 漸進尾聲，下星期將是最後一週。孩子們每天興高采烈的一早就來到 [僑心 ]，一見到老師總是，左一句老師早!右一句老師好! 讓我們所有的老師都讚揚 [僑心 ]的孩子真是有禮貌!
今年的暑假我們從台灣來了三位志工老師，無論是語文教學或者是文化課程，他們總是把上課的氣氛帶到最高點。更讓孩子們開心的是這幾位志工老師能和孩子們打成一片( 不是打架) 。但是，今年的暑假我們經營的相當的艱苦，我不知道我們的孩子都去了哪裡了，然而，學校在艱苦之下，還是圓滿的結束了，孩子們在課業以及品德上都交出了令老師及家長滿意的成績單。孩子度過了暑假，大家都長高了，謝謝家長們你們的支持，讓我們一關一關地度過了難關，謝謝您!
今年到台灣去參加 [ 海外學習中文]計劃的七位同學，在Karl老師以及語文教師王語婕老師的帶領下，帶著豐碩的成果回來了。這一次去台灣的孩子們真是有福了，除了認真學習之外，他們幾乎跑遍了有名的名勝古蹟，不但如此，他們還拜訪了最有名的兩所中學，一個是忠孝國中，另一個是大安國中。孩子們被分配在不同的班級，和老師以及同學交流，我看到他們上課專心聽講的神情，我就知道這些孩子是多麼努力的在學習。不但如此，這一次，還有從美國去的一位年輕的醫生和他們同住，同吃。我們的孩子們得到了完全的照顧! 在此，特別謝謝Karl老師，語婕老師以及Spencer醫生!
[ 僑心 ] 2026年的秋季班也將於8月13日開始上課。在此，我要向所有的家長報告一個好消息，多年來，各個中文學校要聘請一位正式的語文老師非常的困難，每一個中文學校都在為聘親老師頭痛不已。然而， [ 僑心 ] 從今年八月份開始，將迎來三位從台灣師範大學National Taiwan Normal Univerity華語文教學系( Chinese as a Second Language )畢業的三位年輕老師，我們感謝[ 師範大學 ]為我們把關甄選了這三位年輕的老師。 我們以後不會再為缺老師而煩惱，我更盼望在新老師以及本校所有的老師努力之下，[ 僑心 ]能夠更大步的往前邁上一步!
開學後，學校將安排時間讓家長們見一見我們的新老師，您如果有任何的意見及問題可以打電話到學校去詢問!

Dear Parents,
Our eight-week Summer School is drawing to a close, with next week being the final week. Every morning the children arrive at Chiao Hsin full of excitement, and the moment they see their teachers it's "Good morning, teacher!" on one side and "Hello, teacher!" on the other — all our teachers agree that Chiao Hsin's kids are truly well-mannered!
This summer we welcomed three volunteer teachers from Taiwan. They're young and full of energy, and whether teaching language or culture classes, they always brought the class atmosphere to its peak. Even more delightful for the kids was how well these volunteer teachers bonded with them (bonded, not brawled!). That said, this summer was a genuinely difficult one to run — I honestly don't know where all our kids went — but despite the hardship, the school made it through to a successful close, and the children turned in report cards, both academic and character-wise, that satisfied teachers and parents alike. The kids made it through summer, and everyone grew taller. Thank you, parents, for your support — it's what got us through, hurdle after hurdle. Thank you!
The seven students who went to Taiwan this year for the Overseas Chinese Learning Program have returned with wonderful results, led by Teacher Karl and language teacher Wang Yujie. These kids were truly fortunate — beyond studying hard, they visited nearly every famous historic and scenic site, and on top of that, toured two of the most renowned middle schools: Zhong Xiao Junior High and Da'an Junior High. The children were placed into different classes to interact with local teachers and classmates, and seeing how attentively they listened in class, I could tell just how hard they were working. What's more, this time a young doctor from the U.S. lived and ate alongside them the whole trip — our kids were completely taken care of! A special thank-you here to Teacher Karl, Teacher Yujie, and Dr. Spencer!
Chiao Hsin's 2026 Fall semester will begin on August 13th. I'd like to share some good news with all parents: for years, hiring a qualified, full-time language teacher has been a major struggle for every Chinese school — everyone's been racking their brains over the teacher shortage. But starting this August, Chiao Hsin will welcome three young teachers who graduated from National Taiwan Normal University's Department of Chinese as a Second Language. We're grateful to NTNU for vetting and selecting these three young teachers for us. We won't have to worry about teacher shortages anymore, and I truly hope that with the effort of our new teachers alongside our entire existing staff, Chiao Hsin can take an even bigger step forward!
After the semester starts, the school will arrange a time for parents to meet our new teachers. If you have any comments or questions in the meantime, please feel free to call the school!
